Men's Soccer Announces 2025 Regular Season Schedule

AMHERST, Mass. -- The Massachusetts men's soccer program officially announced the 2025 regular season slate on Thursday afternoon.
The Minutemen will play a 17-game regular season schedule with their home opener coming on Thursday, Aug. 21 against Siena.
Massachusetts begins the season with two road exhibitions, starting against Northeastern on Saturday, Aug. 9 in Boston, MA and UAlbany on Saturday, Aug. 16.
UMass plays six games in its non-conference schedule at Rudd Field, including the home opener versus Siena at 4 p.m. The Minutemen also host Quinnipiac (Aug. 28), Stonehill (Sept. 1), Bryant (Sept. 6), Yale (Sept. 20), and Dartmouth (Oct. 21) as part of the non-conference home slate.
The Minutemen complete their non-conference schedule, traveling for four road games against UMass Lowell (Sept. 10), UNH (Sept. 13) Princeton (Sept. 16) and Holy Cross (Sept. 30).
The Minutemen open the conference slate at Delaware on Sept. 27th, in a matchup between new Summit League affiliates. UMass will host its in-conference home opener on Oct. 4th, hosting Denver in a rematch of last season's NCAA Elite Eight contest. Massachusetts travels to Omaha, Neb. on Oct. 11th to play the Mavericks on the road, followed by a home match against Oral Roberts on Oct. 18th. In the final two weeks of the Massachusetts Summit League schedule, UMass travels to Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, Minn. and hosts Kansas City in the final game of the regular season.
With the additions of Delaware and UMass as men's soccer affiliates this season, the seven programs will play a single round-robin format starting on Sept. 27 with six consecutive Saturdays filled with three matches before regular season play concludes on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
The 2025 Summit League Men's Soccer Championship will return to a four-team format this season with semifinals being played Sunday, Nov. 9 on campus sites and hosted by the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds. The highest-remaining seed will then host the title match Saturday, Nov. 8 on its campus.
