Nunez claims Coach of the Year, while Hack garners Most Outstanding Performer of the Year.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Head Coach Juancarlos Nunez was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year, while senior Danielle Hack tabbed A-10 Most Outstanding Performer to headline a total of six postseason awards for the University of Massachusetts tennis team, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Nunez and Hack collect their respective honors for the first time in their career. Nunez is only the second head coach in program history to receive the Coach of the Year award and first since 2017, when former head coach Judy Dixon picked up the accolade for the sixth time. Hack is the third Minutewomen to garner Most Outstanding Performer for the program, with the last time coming in 2006 when Michelle Spiess lauded the award.

In addition, Hack was also named to the league's All-Conference First Team for the second consecutive year and earned a spot on the A-10 All-Academic Team. Junior Thamonpan Jonglertrakul joins Hack on the All-Academic First Team, while sophomore Ella Faessler landed on the All-Conference Second Team.

Nunez led the team to a 15-8 season overall, including a 4-1 mark in conference play. Through six completed seasons at the helm, Nunez owns a 76-42 overall record while his Minutewomen went 25-5 against A-10 competition from 2017-24. He has made six A-10 Championships appearances, earning the A-10 Championship title this season.

Hack capped off the season with a 14-6 singles record at the No. 1 position, with a perfect 4-0 record in the league. The Surrey, England, native finished with a doubles record of 12-8, primarily competing at No. 1 with teammate Jonglertrakul. She received her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology.

Jonglertrakul went 12-5 overall in singles play with an unblemished 5-0 record in the A-10 Conference to close out the season. The Sing Buri, Thailand, native, competed primarily at the No. 2 spot, going 8-2 overall, while spending time at court No. 3 with a 4-3 record. Partnering with Hack at No. 1 doubles, the duo finished with a 12-8 record.

Faessler split time between No. 2 and No. 3 singles, registering an overall record of 10-9, including a 3-2 A-10 record. At No. 3 singles, she went 6-4, while also playing one match at the No. 1 position, posting a winning record of 1-0. The Hilton Head, South Carolina, native, partnered with teammate Amelia Tye at No. 2 doubles, as the duo went 12-8 overall and 4-1 in the league.
