Three Minutemen Complete Tufts Cupid Challenge

AMHERST, Mass.- Three Minutemen completed the Tufts Cupid Challenge on Saturday. Freshman Elijah Wolinski came in second (4367) while John Ferrarelli finished behind him in third (435) and Alex Perenick placed fifth (4153).
Highlights from competition:

All three of the Minutemen cracked the top five of the 60m hurdles as Ferrarelli won the event with a time of 8.64, Wolinski came in third with a time of 8.98 and Perenick placed fifth with a time of 9.42.

In the high jump, Wolinski tied for second (6' 0.5"), Perenick took ninth (5' 8.75"),and Ferrarelli tenth (5' 4.25").

pole vault: Ferrarelli and Wolinski tied for fifth with jumps of 11' 1.75" while Perenick came in seventh with a vault of 10' 10".

Perenick won the 1000m with a time of 2:51.97, Wolinski came in third with a time of 2:54.36, and Ferrarelli finished in 2:55.33 to claim fifth.
The Minutemen will be back in action next weekend as they compete in the BU Valentine Invitation on Friday, February 9th and the URI Pre-Conference Speed and Power Meet on Saturday, February 10th.
