AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts women's basketball team tips off two consecutive games in the Mullins Center beginning with Loyola Chicago on Wednesday. The Minutewomen and Ramblers begin action at 6 p.m. on NESN and ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Minutewomen fell on the road at La Salle on Saturday in Philadelphia, 70-64. Bre Bellamy led the UMass offense with 14 points, just one off her season high, to go along with nine rebounds while Alexsia Rose added 12 points with Stefanie Kulesza chipping in 12 points and nine boards. 

Series History
Wednesday's game marks just the second all-time meeting between the Minutewomen and the Ramblers with the first matchup coming last seaosn in Loyola Chicago's first season as a member of the Atlantic 10. The Minutewomen won the inaugural matchup in Chicago by a score of 76-59 last January.

National Girls And Women In Sports Day
Sunday's game against George Mason marks the annual NGWSD game for the Minutewomen. In celebration of NGWSD, there will be a pre-game multi-sport clinic held in the Boyden Gymnasium. The clinic will start at 2 p.m. and lasts one hour. All participants who register will receive a free t-shirt courtesy of UMassFive College Credit Union. National TV Game
UMass hosts George Mason in a nationally televised game on Sunday, Jan. 21 in the Mullins Center at 4 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. The game marks the first of two nationally televised games for the Minutewomen with the second coming on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at Loyola Chicago on NBC Sports Network.

Crashing The Boards
Stefanie Kulesza ranks third among A-10 leaders in both rebounds per game and total rebounds this season. The junior averages a team-leading 8.3 rebounds per game to rank among the top-100 players nationally while her 141 total rebounds is 56th-most among DI leaders. Kulesza set a career mark with 14 rebounds against both Saint Peter's and UMass Lowell and has surpassed 10 rebounds in five games this season.

Chinenye's Day
Freshman forward Chinenye Odenigbo reached double digits in rebounds for the first time in her career on Saturday as she finished with a game-high 10 rebounds in 12 minutes at La Salle. The freshman missed time earlier this season due to injury and made her return on Dec. 1 at Yale and has appeared in nine games since coming back to the lineup.

Heating Up
Kristin Williams tied her career-high in scoring with 19 points on Wednesday at Richmond, including seven straight to open the second half. The guard has eclipsed double figures in five of her last seven games and is averaging 14.3 points per game during the span. On the season, Williams has reached 10 or more points in nine games and is averaging a team-best 13.4 points per game in A-10 play.

Settling In
Alexsia Rose has reached double figures in her last three games and is averaging 14.3 points, 5.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game during the span. The guard tied her career-high in scoring with 18 and set a new career-best mark in assists in a game with nine with just one turnover in the win over Saint Louis. Rose knocked down a pair of 3-pointers and went 8-of-11 from the free throw line. 

Looking Ahead
UMass concludes its two-game homestand on Sunday against George Mason before hitting the road for its next two league contests. The Minutewomen head to Davidson for a 7 p.m. tip on Jan. 24 and play at rival Rhode Island on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 1 p.m.
