Swimming And Diving Announces 2023-24 Schedule

UMass begins its season on Oct. 6-7 and hosts its first home meet of the new season on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Joseph R. Rogers Jr Pool.
AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts swimming and diving team announced its 2023-24 schedule on Wednesday morning. The Minutemen and Minutewomen begin their season on Oct. 6-7 at the Justin Jennings Invitational at Colgate and will host their first home meet of the season on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Joseph R. Rogers Jr. Pool.
UMass heads to New Jersey on Oct. 13-14 for the swimming only NJIT Invite beginning on Friday at 5 p.m. before the Saturday session at 10 a.m. The first home meet against Yale starts with the divers at 11 a.m. before the swim events start at 1 p.m.
The teams will host Boston University the following weekend on Saturday, Nov. 4 before heading to Boston on Nov. 17-19 for the Terrier Invitational. Prelims at the Terrier start each day at 10 a.m. with the finals slated for 6 p.m. at the FitRec Competition Pool. The Minutewomen follow with a meet at Vermont on Saturday, Dec. 2 for a 1 p.m.
Following the holiday break, both teams return to action with a home meet on Saturday, Jan. 6 against Bryant with the divers set to begin at 11 a.m. followed by the swim events at 1 p.m. Two road meets conclude the regular season beginning with the Tate Ramsden Invitational at Dartmouth on Jan. 19-20. Competition starts on Friday at 5 p.m. with Saturday's action set for 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Both teams head to Fordham for the final meet of the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 1 p.m.
The Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships are set for Feb. 21-24 at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va. Competition begins with the prelims each day at 10 a.m. with the finals at 6:30 p.m.
The NCAA Division I Zone A Diving Championships will be held on March 4-6 in Princeton, N.J.
