Men’s Hoops Unveils 12-Game Non-Conference Schedule

The 12-game schedule features seven non-conference games at home in the Mullins Center.
AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts men's basketball team announced its 12-game non-conference schedule for the 2023-24 season on Thursday afternoon. The Minutemen host seven non-conference opponents at home in the Mullins Center to go along with one road contest and four neutral site games.
Massachusetts hosts its regular season and home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 7 against UAlbany as part of five straight games at home to begin the 2023-24 campaign. The Minutemen follow with Quinnipiac on Nov. 13, Harvard on Friday, Nov. 17, Central Connecticut State on Nov. 22, and conclude the homestand with South Florida on Saturday, Dec. 2.
The Minutemen play their only true road game of the non-conference slate on Dec. 6 at Towson before returning home to the Mullins Center for a Saturday matchup against UMass Lowell on Dec. 9. UMass takes on West Virginia a week later in Springfield at the MassMutual Center as part of the Hall of Fame Classic on Dec. 16.
Massachusetts will play three games in Honolulu for the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic on Dec. 21, 22, and 24 as part of the eight-team tournament. The field for the holiday tournament features Georgia Tech, Hawai'I, Nevada, Old Dominion, Temple, TCU, and Portland.
The Minutemen conclude the non-conference slate with Siena on Saturday, Dec. 30 at home in the Mullins Center.
Season ticket deposits are still being accepted for the 2023-24 season from new season ticket holders. Fans who place deposits for will be contacted to select their seat location prior to the general public season ticket on sale date. Deposits are just $50 per-seat and are applied as a credit towards the total cost of 2023-24 UMass men's basketball season tickets. Returning season ticket holders should not place a deposit. Instead, they should log into their online ticket account to access their season ticket renewal application or call 1-866-UMASS-TIX to renew their season tickets prior to the August 24th deadline.
