Men’s Soccer Announces 2023 Schedule

The Minutemen open the 2023 regular season on Thursday, Aug. 24 at Rudd Field against Northeastern.
AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts men's soccer team announced its 2023 schedule on Tuesday morning. The 17-game regular season schedule begins with Northeastern at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24 at Rudd Field in the first of nine home games for the Minutemen.
UMass plays five games in the non-conference schedule at Rudd Field, including the first two games of the season with a matchup against Central Connecticut State on August 24 following the opener. The Minutemen also host Yale on Sept. 5, Dartmouth on Sept. 12, and Vermont on Sept. 26 as part of the non-conference home slate.
The Minutemen play their first of eight road games on Friday, Sept. 1 with a 7 p.m. kickoff at Brown. UMass hits the road for a non-conference game at Providence on Sept. 9 and begins Atlantic 10 action on the road on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. at Duquesne as part of its eight-game league schedule. The Minutemen follow the A-10 opener with the final non-conference road game of the season on Sept. 19 at Holy Cross.
The alumni game is set for Saturday, Sept. 23 when UMass hosts VCU for the A-10 home opener at 12 p.m. UMass welcomes in George Washington the following Saturday before hitting the road for back-to-back games at St. Bonaventure and Saint Joseph's on Oct. 4 and 7, respectively. The Minutemen host Fordham at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 and Davidson on Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. in the final home games of the regular season. The regular season concludes at Dayton on Saturday, Oct. 28 with the A-10 Quarterfinals set to being on Nov. 4-5.
