Massachusetts rowing competed at the Eastern Sprints Regatta on a rainy Sunday in Worcester
AMHERST, Mass. -- Massachusetts rowing competed at the Eastern Sprints Regatta on a rainy Sunday in Worcester, Massachusetts.
All four UMass boats raced hard in the morning sessions with the varsity and 3V 8s qualifying for the second level finals in their respective races. The field was deep with five conferences represented across the 18 schools racing.

This race served as Massachusetts'Â final tune up for the upcoming A-10 Championship on May 12.
"All four boats came away from the regatta knowing what they did really well and also knowing what opportunities to work on over the next twelve days," head coach Eric Carcich said. "As we continue to build this young team, we're working on our consistency and our execution. It was great to be able to celebrate our senior class and their parents at the conclusion of the regatta and want to take a moment to thank them for all the have done for Massachusetts rowing. Back to work on Tuesday, 12 days until the championship!" Â
