FAIRLEE, Vt. -- Massachusetts rowing traveled to Fairlee, Vermont to compete against Dartmouth and MIT on Saturday at Lake Morey.Â

"We raced hard but were unable to match the speed of Dartmouth across the board," head coach Eric Carcich said. "We got some great insight and value out of the racing today as we continue to build this very young team towards to A-10 championships. I want to thank Nancy LaRoque and the entire Dartmouth coaching staff for hosting us on Lake Morey today. With every race, win, lose or draw, we are looking to identify opportunities heading into our next competition. We're excited to get back to work on Monday as we prepare for eastern sprints on April 30."
The teams raced in calm waters to start with strong headwinds/gusts building throughout the morning for the middle thousand.
