UMass Alumni Form The Commonwealth To Complete In TBT

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts men's basketball alumni are teaming up to form The Commonwealth for this year's TBT (The Basketball Tournament). The squad is comprised of eight UMass hoops alumni with more to be announced at a later date.

The TBT is a 64-team, single-elimination tournament with a winner-take-all prize of a million dollars. The 2023 TBT marks the 10^th anniversary of the summer tournament and begins with regional play at eight locations in mid-July. The TBT concludes in Philadelphia, Pa. with the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship game taking place from July 26-30.

The team will come together on July 11-13 in Amherst, Mass. for a three-day training camp at the Champions Center with a meet and great along with sponsor events scheduled.
