AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts men's basketball team returns home to the Mullins Center for a Tuesday night matchup against new Atlantic 10 member Loyola Chicago. The Minutemen and the Ramblers tip-off at 7 p.m.

Series With Loyola
Tuesday's meeting marks the first all-time meeting between UMass and new Atlantic 10 member Loyola Chicago. The Ramblers spent the last nine seasons in the Missouri Valley Conference after 34 years in the Horizon League. Loyola Chicago made a run to the NCAA Final Four in 2018.

The Stretch Run
The Minutemen have five games remaining in the regular season with three at home in the Mullins Center. UMass will recognize its seniors in the regular season finale on March 4 against St. Bonaventure before beginning Atlantic 10 Championship play from March 7-12 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Crashing The Boards
UMass averages 12.8 offensive rebounds per game to rank 16th nationally and lead the A-10 in the category. Matt Cross leads the team with 2.6 offensive rebounds per game to rank sixth in the conference. UMass also is second in the league in rebounds per game at 37.9 and in the top-40 nationally.

Bench Boost
The Minutemen rank 12th in the country and lead the Atlantic 10 in bench points per game at 29.7. Dyondre Dominguez leads the bench scoring attack with 9.0 points per game while RJ Luis has scored 10.6 points per game in 16 games off the bench with five starts. The UMass bench outscored its opponent's in 17 games this season.

Cross' Last Eight
Matt Cross has reached double figures in scoring in each of the last eight games and poured in a career-high 28 points on 10-of-15 from the field against Davidson on Feb. 4. Cross is averaging 17.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game over the last eight and has eclipsed 10 rebounds twice during the span.

Sharpshooting
Dyondre Dominguez is shooting just over 54-percent from the field this season to rank eighth among A-10 leaders. Dominguez ranks sixth in field goal percentage among leaders who have attempts 150 or more field goals this season.

Looking Ahead
The Minutemen head back out on the road on Saturday to tip-off a stretch of back-to-back nationally televised games with a 2 p.m. tip-off at rival Rhode Island on ESPNU. UMass returns home for a Wednesday night tip-off on CBS Sports Network against Dayton at 7 p.m.
