AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts women's basketball team returns to the Mullins Center for a noon tip on Sunday against UMass Lowell. The game marks 80's Day on the promotional schedule with 250 free t-shirts being given away to students.

Tuning In
The matchup between the Minutewomen and the River Hawks will air on both NESN and ESPN+ on Sunday at noon.

Series History
Sunday's meeting marks the seventh all-time meeting between the Minutewomen and River Hawks dating back to the first game during the 2015-16 season. UMass leads the all-time series 5-1 and took the last meeting in Lowell behind a 71-53 win.

Last Time Out
UMass fell on the road at Boston College, 95-57, in its last game of a six-game road trip. Jermany Mapp led the Minutewomen in scoring with a season-high 14 points on 6-of-8 from the field while Lilly Taulelei and Stefanie Kulesza chipped in 12 and 11, respectively.

Settling In
Freshman forward Lilly Taulelei has scored 10 points or more the last three games and is averaging 13.0 points per game during the span. Taulelei is also shooting a blistering 82-percent (18-of-22) from the field in the last three games and is converting on 53-percent of her field goal attempts this season.

On The Mapp
Jermany Mapp recorded a season-high 14 points in Wednesday's game at Boston College and finished the night shooting 6-of-8 from the field. Mapp is averaging 10.7 points per game over the last three contests and is scoring 7.9 points per game to rank third on the UMass squad.

Road Trip
Wednesday's game wrapped up a six-game road trip for the Minutewomen. UMass last played at home on Nov. 16 and began its road trip on Sunday, Nov. 19 at Monmouth. The Minutewomen followed with three neutral site games at the Cancun Challenge before road contests at Yale and Boston College.

Welcome Chinenye
Freshman forward Chinenye Odenigbo made her first collegiate appearance at Yale after missing the start of the season due to injury. Odenigbo finished with six points on 3-of-3 from the field in her UMass debut and followed with seven points and three rebounds on Wednesday at Boston College.

Stacking Double Doubles
Junior Stefanie Kulesza recorded her third double-double of the season as she finished with a career-best 20 points and 11 rebounds in a loss to no. 23-ranked Washington State. Kulesza's three double-doubles ranks her third in the Atlantic 10 in the category and among the top-40 nationally. Kulesza is averaging team-leading marks in scoring at 12.7 points per game and rebounds at 8.1 per contest.

A-10 Play Approaching
Atlantic 10 conference play is three weeks away as league action begins for the Minutewomen on Saturday, Dec. 30 at VCU. UMass plays the following two games at home in the Mullins Center, hosting Dayton on Tuesday, Jan. 2 before taking on Saint Louis on Saturday, Jan. 6.

Looking Ahead
The Minutewomen wrap up non-conference play on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at noon against UAlbany in the Mullins Center. The game marks the second in a row at home for UMass after last playing on its home hardwood back on Nov. 16 against Harvard.
