AMHERST, Mass. -- The Minutemen welcome the addition of December enrollee Tyler Mason as head coach Frank officially announced on Thursday. The 6' 10" forward joins the Minutemen roster and will be immediately eligible.

"Super excited to add Tyler Mason to our program," said head coach Frank Martin. "The opportunity to add someone with his size and versatility at the semester break will help our team tremendously and long-term he will be another great piece of this freshman class and who they grow to become."

Tyler Mason comes to Massachusetts out of Richmond, Va. and currently ranks as a three-star recruit according to both Rivals and On3. The big man last played at Phhoenix Prep and chose Massachusetts over offers from Seton Hall, Depaul and Wichita State among others.
