Minutewomen Earn Third Straight Shutout In Season Finale Victory Over Lock Haven

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Massachusetts (12-6, 5-2) ended the regular season in style claiming a 3-0 victory over Lock Haven (5-11, 2-5) in University Park, Pennsylvania. The clean sheet marks the fifth shutout victory for the Minutewomen this season and their first on the road.
Massachusetts continued its superb end to the regular season earning their fifth straight win and third consecutive shutout in the regular season finale. Junior Dempsey Campbell led the team offensively, recording two goals on the day. The two goals mark Campbell's first career multi-goal game.
Graduate Student Emily Crawford also got in on the action, scoring her second goal of the season.
Sophomore goalkeeper Myrte Van Herwijnen led a defensive unit that held Lock Haven to zero goals on 10 shots and eight penalty corners against.

- Emily Crawford broke the ice early in the first period, netting the game's first goal just 1:55 into the first quarter.
- Dempsey Campbell netted a counter-attack goal into the bottom right corner with just 23 seconds remaining in the half to give UMass a 2-0 advantage at the break.
