Breen, Trivigno Named UMass Student-Athletes Of The Week

AMHERST, Mass. – Graduate student Sam Breen of women's basketball and senior Bobby Trivigno of hockey tabbed UMass Student-Athletes of the Week, presented by UMassFive College Credit Union, as announced on Tuesday by the UMass Sports Luncheon committee.
Breen tied her career best 31 points, going 12-for-19, including making three of her four attempts from beyond the arc, while sinking all four of her free throws. She also added four rebounds, one assist and two steals in the contest against No. 5 Notre Dame.
Trivigno was named to the Hockey East All-Tournament Team and was the Tournament MVP for a second-straight year after helping UMass to its second-straight Hockey East Tournament title with a three-point weekend on two goals and an assist. The senior scored the game winner in Friday's 3-1 Semifinal victory on Friday vs. UMass Lowell and followed up by factoring in both goals in Saturday's championship, tying the score at 1-1 with his 20th goal of the year and setting up the game winner in overtime for his 48th point of the season.
