Howard Earns Three Medals For Men's Track & Field At New England Championships

The senior took gold in 100m, bronze in 200m and ran on UMass' 4x100m relay that earned silver.

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Senior Jordan Howard collected two individual medals and one relay medal on Saturday at the New England Championships. The Minutemen finished sixth in the final team scoring with 38 points, while Rhode Island took home the title with 203.83 points.

Howard ran 10.61 seconds to gold in 100 meter dash, improving upon his No. 5 all-time UMass mark. He posted a time of 21.95 in 200 meter dash to earn bronze.

Lucas Honohan captured silver in 400 meter dash, completing the race in 47.43 seconds.

Both Howard and Honohan teamed up with Noah Kortkamp and Riley Drew to run 41.64 to silver in the 4x100 meter relay.
