Coleman Accepts Invitation To College Gridiron Showcase

Three-year starter to participate in annual event hosted for professional scouts, executives
FORT WORTH, Texas - University of Massachusetts football three-year starter and four-year letterman Larnel Coleman accepted an invitation to participate in the 2021 College Gridiron Showcase, as announced by the organization. Coleman will spend Jan. 17-21 in Fort Worth, Texas, performing position-specific drills during practices and will participate in a game hosted in front of professional scouts.
Coleman played in 40 career games at UMass, including 29 as a starter on the offensive line at left or right tackle. Standing 6-foot-6 and weighing 315 pounds, Coleman was pivotal in protecting in the pass and run games as the team's starting right tackle during 2018 before he shifted to the left side in 2019 and 2020. He earned a spot on the 2020 Outland Trophy Watch List, given annually to the top interior lineman in FBS, and won Phil Steele All-Independent Team honors as well.
The 2021 College Gridiron Series will see players perform individual and non-timed, non-contact combine style drills, attend meetings and have the opportunity for personal interviews with scouts and executives from professional organizations.
