AMHERST, Mass. – The Valley Blue Sox will host UMass Athletics Night on Wed., July 18 when the squad squares off with the Vermont Mountaineers at Mackenzie Stadium in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Gates to the stadium will open at 5:30 p.m., while first pitch will follow at 6:35 p.m.

A limited number of free tickets are currently available through UMass Athletics via the Mullins Center Box Office. All additional ticket purchases can be made via the Valley Blue Sox website.

UMass women's basketball head coach Tory Verdi will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and members of the women's basketball and hockey programs will be present taking pictures with fans prior to the game, handing out schedules and signing autographs.

In addition, Sam the Minuteman will be in attendance alongside the UMass Athletics Street Team, giving away promotional items, including football magnets and posters.
