Sarah Hawkshaw Named to Irish Training Camp Squad

Hawkshaw and Ireland will meet Spain in three uncapped matches
VALENCIA, Spain – University of Massachusetts field hockey alumna Sarah Hawkshaw (2014-17) has been named to the 28-player Irish squad traveling to Spain for a five-day training camp, announced by Hockey Ireland on Nov. 19. As part of the trip, Ireland will face Spain in three uncapped matches from Nov. 27-29.
Hawkshaw returned to Railway Union Hockey Club after her time at UMass, where she was part of two NCAA Tournament teams (2015-16). She finished her career with 92 points on 40 goals and 12 assists, ranking eighth all-time at UMass in points and seventh in goals. Hawkshaw was a four-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection and twice took home NFHCA All-America accolades.
