UMass Athletics continues strong relationship with cutting-edge apparel company through 2028.

AMHERST, Massachusetts – The University of Massachusetts and adidas today announced a multi-year partnership extension in which the Portland, Ore., based company will continue to be the official athletic footwear, apparel and accessory brand of the Minutemen.

"adidas has been a wonderful partner of the University of Massachusetts and we are thrilled to continue our relationship for another 10 years," said Director of Athletics Ryan Bamford. "The brand continues to be one of the most recognized and cutting-edge apparel companies worldwide, so we are pleased with our continued association."

With the new 10-year deal, adidas will supply the Minutemen with custom uniforms, apparel, footwear and accessories for all of UMass' 21 varsity athletic teams through the 2027-28 season. The partnership will also include an increased focus on retail products giving fans and supporters greater access than ever before to sideline apparel and replica uniforms. This most recent partnership agreement extends the relationship between UMass and adidas that originally began in 2005.

"We believe that sport has the power to change lives and this partnership extension provides us an opportunity to continue to collaborate with UMass Athletics and help them with their mission to ensure all student-athletes receive the finest academic and athletic experience possible, encourage character and personal growth, develop student-athletes into positive role models and productive members of society, and to win championships," said Jim Murphy, director of NCAA Sports Marketing at adidas America. "Our mission is to help athletes perform better and over the next 10 years, we'll continue to empower these student-athletes by providing the Minutemen with our best and most innovative uniforms, footwear, apparel and equipment, and we'll also look to inspire them and fans alike through our products, our style and in the community."
