Clark Shares Atlantic 10 Player of the Week
Donte Clark won a share of the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week Award on Feb. 13 for his performances against Rhode Island and Saint Joseph's. Clark tied his career high with 30 points versus the Rams and followed up with 24 more at Hagan Arena against the Hawks.

Clark shot 60.9 percent overall (14-23) including 41.7 percent from 3-point land (5-12) while he was an efficient 21-of-26 at the foul line (80.8 percent). He now ranks 29th all-time at UMass in points scored (1,183). Clark shares the player of the week laurel with George Washington's Tyler Cavanaugh. Saint Joseph's freshman Charlie Brown won Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week.

Clark Gets Right vs. Rhody
Donte Clark tied his career high with 30 points scored against Rhode Island on Feb. 7, also the most Clark has recorded in his career at the Mullins Center. Clark hit on 8-of-14 field goals and 13-of-16 free throws. Clark tied his personal best for free throws made and reset his best in free throw attempts in the process. His lone additional 30-point outing came against New Orleans in a 103-95 overtime win on Dec. 16, 2015.

The Rhody Series Reach Game Number 150
The longest-running and most frequently revisited annual series in the history of the University of Massachusetts men's basketball program reached game No. 150 when the Minutemen host Rhode Island at the Mullins Center on Tues., Feb. 7. UMass leads the all-time series, 88-62 while Derek Kellogg is 13-7 as the head coach of the program. The series dates back to Jan. 11, 1908, which went as a 32-14 victory for Massachusetts. The next-longest series is 108 games with Connecticut while the second-longest running series with an A-10 opponent is Saint Joseph's (70 games).

Beating Cancer, One 3-Pointer At A Time
UMass men's basketball made 10 3-pointers in their first of nine Coaches vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge games at La Salle. It equated to $506.00 dollars pledged for donation to the American Cancer Society and Coaches vs. Cancer. The Minutemen are projected to finish in the top 10 in the nation for donations raised among the 209 participating teams. Fans can join the fundraiser by signing up at 3PointChallenge.org.

UMass Goes All-In With Coaches Vs. Cancer Participation
The UMass men's basketball program and head coach Derek Kellogg are participating in three aspects of Coaches vs. Cancer Week: Suits & Sneakers, Princess Lacey's Laces and the 3-Point Challenge.

For Suits & Sneakers, the coaches and support staff are wearing forest green Adidas sneakers with Princess Lacey's bright yellow laces. Proceeds from purchases of the laces are donated to the American Cancer Society and Princess Lacey's Legacy.

Teams across the country square off in the 3-Point Challenge to see who can score the most 3-pointers to raise the most money in support of the fight against cancer. Basketball fans from around the country are encouraged to join the fun. Fans can support their schools campaign by pledging a donation for every 3-point shot made during their campaign.

Donte Gets To 1K
In need of 18 points to reach 1,000 for his career at the University of Massachusetts, Donte Clark poured in 27 against Rider and became the 50th member of the UMass Men's Basketball 1,000-Point Club. Clark reached 1,000 in his 76th career game (13.2 points per game career average) and became the first junior class member to eclipse quadruple digits since Chaz Williams did so in 2012-13.

Clark currently ranks 27th all-time in UMass history for points scored with 1,208 after the game against Davidson.
