PRINCETON, N.J. - The Minutewomen are enjoying several personal successes after day two of the ECAC Championship as five members of the UMass Women's track and field squad took to the track and produced two top-eight finishes. Highlights of the day's action included Bridget Deveau's third-place finish in the heptathlon and Rachel Hilliard's personal record-earning performance in the 1,500 meter prelims which improved her standing in the UMass record book to fourth all-time.

Deveau took Bronze in heptathlon with 4,651 points. Ashley Palmer was seventh in long jump with an 18 foot, 10 inch leap. In javelin, Emma Robinson finished 13th at 132 feet, 8 inches.

Hilliard enjoyed success in the 1,500 meter prelims, running 4 minutes, 30.71-seconds. It was enough to set a personal record, improve her standing in the UMass record book, and qualify for finals tomorrow. Heather MacLean ran 2:08.45 in the 800 meter prelims but was just short of qualifying for Sunday's finals.

The Minutewomen close out the final day of the ECAC Championships Sunday in Princeton, N.J. Start time is slated for 10:00 a.m.
