Lindley Adds ECAC Rookie Of The Week Laurel

DANBURY, Conn. - University of Massachusetts freshman Peter Lindley added Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Rookie of the Week Tuesday afternoon one day after the Darien, Connecticut, native earned the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) version of the laurel. Lindley recorded eight points during a pair of Minuteman wins in the previous week as the squad defeated Quinnipiac, 18-5 and Penn State, 12-8.
Lindley scored on each of his three shots against the Bobcats and helped out on two more goals for a single-game career high five points. He added three more points in the comeback victory earned versus the Nittany Lions via a pair of goals - including the eventual game-winner - and one assist.
Brown University's sophomore close defenseman Larken Kemp is the ECAC New England Player of the Week and Bryant University's junior goalie Gunnar Waldt earned ECAC New England Defensive Player of the Week.
