ESPNU To Air Midweek #MACtion Between UMass & Ball State
November 06, 2014 | Football
For the first time since 2007, the UMass football team will host a nationally televised game at McGuirk Stadium when Ball State visits next Wednesday night. Kickoff is slated for 8 PM on Nov. 12 which will be Heroes In Action Day at the stadium.
ESPN announced that the game will be carried live on ESPNU and streamed on ESPN3.com for fans around the country to watch. The midweek #MACtion games have proved highly popular for the Mid-American Conference over the years. As the only football games on the air on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, the exposure on the ESPN television platforms offers national exposure for the program.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Mullins Center Box Office at 866-UMASS-TIX, visiting www.UMassAthletics.com/tickets or by visiting the Mullins Center Box Office in person.
As announced earlier this week, tailgating has been pushed back one hour for general parking lots to 5 PM. This is for Lots 22 and Lots 33 which are adjacent to the stadium. Season ticket holders and donors who park in Lot 11 next to the Football Performance Center may start tailgating at 4 PM.
