UMass won back-to-back games for the first time since the 2011 season - vs. Central Connecticut and at Delaware.

Offense Notes

UMass had 5 rushing TDs. The last time that happened was on Sept 26, 2009 versus Stony Brook.

TB Shadrach Abrokwah finished with a career-highs in rushing yards (135) and touchdowns (4), while tying his high in carries (13). It was first multiple-TD game of his career. The last time a UMass player rushed for four TDs was RJ Cobbs at Rhode Island on Nov 23, 2002 (school record 5). Tied the season-high in the MAC for rushing TDs in one game; second MAC player to record 4 rushing TDs in one game.

WR Tajae Sharpe had a career-high 193 receiving yards, which is the 17th-most in a FBS Division I game this season. He has 1,676 career receiving yards, ranking ninth in UMass history. He has 137 receptions, moving past Victor Cruz into fifth place in school history.

Defense Notes
The 14 points allowed are the fewest against UMass this season, a week after the previous low of 17 in the win at Kent State.

EMU finished with 260 yards of total offense, but just 52 in the second half and 11 on 10 plays in the fourth quarter. The 147 yards passing by EMU was the fewest against UMass this season.

UMass finished with a season-high four quarterback sacks. They were recorded by Jovan Santos-Knox, Sha-Ki Holines, Robert Kitching, Vondell Langston, Daniel Maynes, and Trey Seals.

DB Khary Bailey-Smith had his second interception of the year and sixth of his career.

DB Randall Jette had a pair of pass break ups, both of which were near interceptions.

NT Robert Kitching blocked a 52-yard field goal in the second quarter. It was his second block this season after he blocked an extra point vs Bowling Green two weeks ago. It was UMass' second-consecutive game with a blocked field goal (Kassan Messiah at Kent State last week).

Special Teams

PK Logan Laurent made a 31-yard field goal, matching his previous long from last week at Kent State. The redshirt freshman is 3-for-3 on field goals this season.
