UMass Athletics: Hi everyone and welcome to Dayton, Ohio! We are about ten minutes away from the first pitch! Kayla English will pitch for Dayton, Emma Mendoker for UMass.

UMass Athletics: The lineup for the Minutewomen will be as follows: Matthew, Bettencourt, Carbone, Diaz-Patterson, Meeks, Webster, Rogers, Quealy, Godin.

UMass Athletics: Matthew is at the plate, we are just about to throw the first pitch here in Dayton.

UMass Athletics: 2-2 to Matthew

UMass Athletics: Matthew is walked on a full count. That brings up Bettencourt.

UMass Athletics: Bettencourt hit a grounder between the third baseman and the shortstop and out to left field for a single!

UMass Athletics: Carbone popped one up foul and the first baseman was able to make the catch. One out, Diaz-Patterson at the plate, two on.
