POSTGAME NOTES • NOV. 23, 2013

• UMass held Central Michigan to 67 yards rushing for the game which was the fewest gained by the Chippewas since running for 66 at Michigan in the season opener.
• UMass' four turnovers in the game were the most in a game this season.
• UMass was held scoreless for the first time this season since the opener at Wisconsin.
• Galen Clemons had his first sack of 2013 in the third quarter; Clemons started his football career at Central Michigan in 2009 before transferring to UMass in 2010. He now has 2.5 sacks for his career.
• Kevin Byrne started his 30th career game to tie Anthony Dima for the team lead.
• Greg Orekoya posted his first collegiate rushing attempt in the first quarter gaining six yards; He ended that drive with 17 yards on three carries.
• Shadrach Abrokwah played in his first career game at UMass posting 20 carries for 93 yards. He posted UMass' third-longest run of the year with his 31-yard scamper in the second quarter.
• Tyshon Henderson made his first collegiate start at left tackle marking just the second time UMass has a change in the starting offensive line. The last time was when Fabian Hoeller started at center in place of Matt Sparks against Maine.
• Anthony Dima missed the game snapping a 19-game consecutive start streak.
• Stanley Andre and Randall Jette each started their 23rd consecutive game on Saturday - the longest active streak on the team.
• Galen Clemons, David Osei and Randall Jette served as the Minutemen's game captains.
