Rob from Medford: Who are some key Junior College or Walk on athletes on the Umass Roster?

UMass Athletics: Hi Rob. Thanks for the question. I would say that back-up punter #91 Colter Johnson is a key JUCO transfer... also reserve QB Ian Shultis is also a JUCO guy who can provide some depth at a spot that can get thin at any moment.

Allan (Somerville): I live in the Boston area. Why is the game blacked out on ESPN3? I cannot get SNY.

UMass Athletics: You should be able to see it online in Boston without a problem. Its black-out windows are mostly NYC and all of Connecticut.

Roger (Amherst): How does the team look in warmups?

UMass Athletics: They look crisp. UMass just finished its warmups and is headed into the locker room... T-minus 18 minutes until FBS football becomes a reality.

Allan-Storrs: How's the weather?

UMass Athletics: 75 degrees and partly cloudy. Wind out of S-SW at 15 mph. Great night for football. You should head on out. Tickets are still available.

Brad-Warwick: I seem to be blacked out from watching on espn3 as well as a friend in MA....anyone know what's going on?

Rob from Medford: Boy do we need some D-lineman or what?

UMass Athletics: Yes and no... A lot of UConn's damage has come to the outside but it would be nice to get some more pressure on the QB as well. But I don't think the D-Line has played bad tonight.

Jeff from Mass: Is Stacey Bedell playing?

UMass Athletics: I haven't seen him out there but he is dressed tonight.
