UMass Claims Three Of Four A-10 Swim Honors

AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass men's and women's swimming and diving teams captured three of the four Atlantic 10 weekly honors this week following the Dartmouth Invitational. Michael Glenn and Zoe Judd both swept the Rookie of the Week honors while Chris Inglis captured the Men's Performer of the Week. Glenn has now received his fourth Rookie of the Week honor while Judd has claimed her second. Inglis is the second Minuteman to be named Performer of the Week.
Glenn played a big role in the Minutemen claiming second at the Dartmouth Invitational by taking first in both the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 59.09 and the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:05.96. He was also able to take second in the 200-yard IM and third in the 400-yard IM.
Judd was a standout for the Minutewomen, en route to her second Rookie of the Week honor. She picked up the first-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.97. She also grabbed second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.44) and third in the 50-yard freestyle (24.24).
Inglis picked up two first-place finishes in both the 200-yard freestyle and the 1650-yard freestyle with times of 1:40.62 and 15:56.02, respectively. He also claimed second in the 500-yard freestyle finishing with a time of 4:38.51. As a member of the 400-yard medley relay team he earned first with a time of 3:25.18.
Both teams will be back in action Saturday, as they host A-10 rival Fordham on senior day. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm and will air on CBS 3 Now and online at UMassathletics.com.
