Tennis Advances To Fifth Place Match

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - On Saturday, #7 UMass was able to beat #6 Duquesne, 4-1, at the Boar's Head Inn. UMass tennis took the doubles point and the number two, three, and six singles to advance in the loser's bracket to face off against Charlotte for fifth place in the Atlantic 10. Seniors Candynce Boney and Kaitlyn Carpenter helped out UMass yesterday to keep its season alive with wins in the number three and six singles along with wins in the number two and three doubles.
