Men's Soccer Senior Day Match Postponed To Sunday

AMHERST, Mass. - Due to field conditions following last weekend's snow storm, the UMass men's soccer Senior Day match against Rhode Island has been postponed from Saturday to Sunday, Nov. 6 at Rudd Field. The opening kick-off is slated for 1 PM. Admission is free to all.
Prior to the match, UMass will honor the senior class of Bryant Craft, Shane Curran-Hays, Michael Doherty, Chris Gilbert, Andrew Henshaw, Cliff Kipper and Chris Roswess.
Last season, the Minutemen defeated the Rams 1-0 in Kingston thanks to a Chris Stoker goal in the 87th minute.
This will be the 56th meeting of the classic New England rivalry between the two sides. Rhode Island leads the all-time series 31-20-4 with the teams splitting the last four meetings with two wins each.
