Championship Weekend Concludes For Track and Field

PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior and freshman Lisa Wilson and Nalis Mbianda were in action in the final day of the ECAC Championships on Sunday in the shot put. Wilson placed eighth in her flight and 14th overall, while Mbianda took 11th in her flight and 20th overall. The senior posted a distance of 44-08.00, while the freshman threw a distance of 42-00.50. The women placed 43rd in a field of 51 teams with a total of four points. On the men' side, the Minutemen finished in 31st place with 11 points.
Next up for the track and field teams at UMass are the NCAA Regionals, for those competitors who have qualified. The championship event will take place on May 28 and 29.
