UMass Football Weekly To Air On Comcast SportsNet

AMHERST, Mass. - UMass Football Weekly With Kevin Morris begins its 2009 run tonight on CBS 3 Springfield with a primetime special at 8 p.m. In addition to airing weekly on CBS 3, UMass is thrilled to announce the show will also air on Comcast SportsNet New England multiple times each week, reaching more than four million homes in the region.
The show which is produced by CBS 3 Springfield will run in its normal timeslot in Western Massachusetts every Saturday throughout the season at 11:30 a.m. starting next Saturday, Sept. 12.
The initial showing on Comcast SportsNet for this week's show will be on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. So put the show on your TV while listening on the radio throughout the UMass Sports Network.
Comcast SportsNet reaches more than 4 million households in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Comcast SportsNet's programming includes Boston Celtics and many college sports including CAA Football with has four UMass games.
UMass Football Weekly covers the Minutemen like no one else with host "Voice of the Minutemen" Josh Maurer and Coach Morris profiling upcoming games, reviewing highlights and profiling members of the squad.
