AMHERST, Mass. - Become a follower of UMassAthletics! UMass Athletics has officially launched its Twitter page, giving fans a new and exciting way to stay connected with all the latest news and information on the Minutemen and Minutewomen through the popular social networking site.
The official UMass Athletics Twitter page will be updated throughout the year with up-to-the-minute news, scores, in-game updates, time changes and other announcements from UMass Athletics.
Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that is designed to connect businesses, organizations and individuals. Each Twitter post (or "tweet") is displayed on the users' profile page and can also be received on a user's cell phone via text, instant message, email, on social networking sites such as Facebook or Myspace or on the web.
