Princeton, N.J. - The UMass women's track and field team finished off the weekend at the ECAC Championship with two athletes competing to finish 37th of 58 teams. Lisa Wilson (Holden, Mass.) highlighted the day, ranking eighth of 23 athletes in the shot put with a mark of 44-11.50 to score one point for the Minutewomen. Stephanie Aguguo (Shrewsbury, Mass.) was the only other athlete to compete on the day, finishing 23rd in the triple jump with a distance of 37-08.50.

As a team, the Minutewomen's season has concluded. Representing UMass, redshirt senior Kristen Bakanowski (Northboro, Mass.) and Wilson will travel to Greensboro, N.C. in two weeks to compete at the NCAA East Regional Meet. Bakanowski qualified this weekend, tying her school record in the pole vault with a height of 12-07.50. Wilson qualified earlier in the season at the Larry Ellis Invitational in the discus.
