UMass Participates In National Walk To School Day

Student-athletes from the UMass athletic department took part in National Walk To School Day on Wednesday in Amherst. Members of the basketball, soccer, baseball, hockey, softball and football teams and more took part in the event which took place at Wildwood Elementary School in Amherst. The student-athletes walked with the youngsters and spoke to them about staying fit and keeping in shape. It was a great event bringing UMass and the community closer.
