RICHMOND, Va. - CAA Football announced its final group of Player of the Week honorees for the 2007 season, Monday, Nov. 19. Five individuals earned honors after helping each of their teams to victories Saturday, including Massachusetts' J.J. Moore, New Hampshire's Ricky Santos, James Madison's John Baranowsky and Scotty McGee and Villanova's Terence Thomas.

Moore, one of two CAA Football Offensive Players of the Week, helped No. 8 Massachusetts earn its second-straight league championship by topping No. 22 Hofstra, 27-5, on the road. Moore hauled in 11 catches for 155 yards and scored two touchdowns in the win. Moore, a St. Petersburg, Fla., native now ranks as the second-best single-game receiver in school history as his total of 11 catches are just behind his own record mark of 13. Half of UMass quarterback Liam Coen's 22 completions on the day went to Moore and more than half of his 309 yards passing were thanks to Moore's efforts.

Santos, the second of two CAA Football Offensive Players of the Week, helped the 20th-ranked Wildcats end their regular season with a 39-14 win at home against Maine. The Bellingham, Mass., native connected on 25-of-32 pass attempts for 355 yards and four touchdowns. The now-three time weekly league honoree had touchdown completions of 58, 18, 49 and 15 yards on the day, and ends the regular season with a completion percentage of 73 percent.

Baranowsky, the CAA Football Defensive Player of the Week, helped No. 14 James Madison to a regular-season ending 23-13 victory over Towson at home. The Sudbury, Mass., native recorded five of the Dukes' nine totals sacks on the day, helping limit Towson to a net rushing total of zero. The senior ended the game with seven total tackles, while his five sacks totalled 27 yards.

McGee earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors after logging the longest kickoff return in school history, helping No. 14 James Madison to a 23-13 win over Towson. The sophomore took the game's opening kickoff 100 yards pushing the Dukes out in front early. The 100-yard return ties the longest return in league annals, and is the first time since Northeastern's Art Smith returned a kickoff 100 yards against New Hampshire in 2002. The Virginia Beach, Va., native broke his own school record with the return -- having taken a 99-yard return back for a score in JMU's playoff loss last season at Youngstown State.

Thomas logged his first CAA Football Rookie of the Week honor after helping Villanova to a 16-10 upset win over No. 9 Delaware. The Wildcats, behind Thomas and a strong defensive effort, held the Blue Hens to season lows in points (10) and total offense (281). Thomas ended the game with six total tackles -- all solo, a sack for seven yards and two tackles for a loss of nine yards. The Lawrenceville, N.J., native also was in on one of four pass-breakups by Villanova.
