UMass Head Coach Don Brown on Tim Day: "Day was immense today. He stepped up in a very big way and ran our offense the way we want him to." Brown on his team's play and his coaching staff: "Our biggest thing today was to take care of what we had to do. We wanted to play at our level. "Our staff did a great job. I have a tremendous feeling about this football team and how they responded and got through the first phase of this. Our players responded and I am happy for everyone in our program." Delaware State Head Coach Al Lavan on his team's play: "We wanted to control the football and keep it away from them. We ended up giving up big plays as the game went along. Some of them had more to do with the discipline of our defense than anything."
