AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts head men's basketball coach Steve Lappas has announced that junior center Gabe Lee (Camilla, Ga.) has withdrawn from school due to personal reasons.

"We will continue to support Gabe Lee in sorting through some matters in his personal life," said Lappas.

In 2003-2004, Lee started the first 14 games of the year for the Minutemen, averaging 9.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.2 blocks per contest. He missed the final 15 games of the season due to injury.
