Price Named To A-10 All-Academic Team

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts women's tennis player, sophomore Stephanie Price (Columbia, Mo.) was named to the Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Academic All-Conference Team on Tuesday. This is the second conference honor Price has received this year, as she was also an A-10 Women's Tennis All-Conference selection.
Price, a biology major with a 3.780 GPA, was also named to the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll this year, marking the second straight year she has qualified for the honor.
The sophomore, who helped UMass advance to the conference championship at the A-10 tournament on April 19, posted an 11-5 record at No. 1 doubles while playing with junior Jafra Depontes (Kaliua-Kona, Hawaii). In singles play Price went 18-11 for the year while playing at No. 1 and No. 2 singles.
