Men's Tennis Falls To Dayton, 7-0

AMHERST, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts men's tennis team (0-14) fell to Dayton, 7-0, this afternoon. The Minutemen failed to win a match as the Flyers swept through both the singles and doubles games.
The Flyers won the three doubles matches, 8-7, 8-7, 8-1, respectively to start off the match.
In singles, senior Steve Prisco (Dedham, Mass.) was leading Carl Christiansson, 2-6, 7-5, 4-0, but was forced to retire in the third set. Freshman Reid Stubbs (Fort Myers, Fla.) fell to Jonathon Khoury in a third-set tiebreaker, 7-5, 6-7, 4-10.
The Minutemen will host Xavier in an Atlantic 10 conference match on Tuesday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m.
