Men's Tennis Falls To No. 9 North Florida, 8-1

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The University of Massachusetts men's tennis team (0-13) fell to North Florida, the ninth-ranked team in Division II, 8-1 last night at the UNF Tennis Complex. The Minutemen complete their spring break trip in Florida at 0-4.
Massachusetts lost all three doubles games to fall behind 0-3 early in the match and were never able to recover. Junior Jed Greenberg (Needham, Mass.) was the only victorious Minuteman in singles as he breezed by Stephen Poulos at No. 5, 6-1, 7-6 (6).
The Minutemen return home for an Atlantic 10 conference match with Dayton on Sunday, March 24 at 12:00 p.m. The match will either be played at the Upper Boyden Courts on the campus of UMass or at the Bay Road Tennis Center, depending on weather and court conditions.
