Men's Tennis Drops Two Matches At Stetson and Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The University of Massachusetts men's tennis team (0-12) dropped two matches as they continue its spring break trip in Florida. Yesterday, they fell to Stetson, 5-2, and were swept by Jacksonville, 7-0, this afternoon.
The Minutemen won two singles matches against Stetson as freshman Reid Stubbs (Fort Myers, Fla.) and junior Jed Greenberg (Needham, Mass.) were victorious at fifth and sixth singles, respectively. Stubbs downed Kenny Bohannon 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, while Greenberg breezed by Ben Adrian, 6-2, 7-5. Massachusetts lost all three doubles games.
This afternoon, the Minutemen were shutout by Jacksonville University, 7-0. The sweep was the first of the year for the Dolphins as they improved to 7-8.
Massachusetts completes its spring break trip in Florida against the University of North Florida tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
