AMHERST, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts men's tennis team was swept this weekend by George Washington on their home indoor courts at the Bay Road Tennis Club. The Minutemen are now 0-9 overall this spring.

The No. 2 doubles team of freshmen Scott Sans Leeb (Lafayette, Calif.) and Reid Stubbs (Fort Myers, Fla.) knocked off Matt Treadgold and Kevin Wright, 8-3. The Colonials won the remaining two doubles matches to secure the point and went on to sweep all six singles matches.

The Minutemen head to Florida for their annual spring break trip. The first match will be with Lynn University, one of the top-ranked Division II programs, Sunday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m.
