AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts men's gymnastics team will conclude a four-meet homestand as it welcomes Southern Connecticut to Boyden Gymnasium on Wednesday evening for a dual meet. The meet is scheduled to begin a 7:00 p.m.

The Minutemen, 5-1 on the season, have won five consecutive meets heading into Wednesday's tilt with the Owls, who are 1-3 on the year. The two teams have faced off twice already this season, with UMass winning both meetings handily. The Minutemen finished second at the season-opening UMass Open with a team score of 200.550, 17 points better than Southern Connecticut. At the West Point Open in early January, UMass again placed second, while the Owls finished more than 20 points behind.

The University of Massachusetts men's gymnastics team has won its last six meets in the friendly confines of Boyden Gymnasium, posting a 3-0 record at home last season. Dating back to the beginning of the 1999-2000 season, the Minutemen have posted a 9-1 home mark.
