AMHERST, Mass. (AP) - Mark Kimener returned an interception 18 yards for a touchdown and R.J. Cobbs rushed for 120 yards Saturday as Massachusetts beat Delaware 17-7 for its fifth consecutive victory.
Delaware (5-5, 3-4 Atlantic 10) took a 7-0 lead in the second quarter when quarterback Andy Hall, who led the Blue Hens with 69 yards rushing, capped a 9-play, 82-yard drive with a 1-yard run.
Massachusetts (7-2, 5-1), which tied idle Maine for the conference lead, responded five minutes later when Jeff Krohn completed a 36-yard touchdown pass to Adrian Zullo. Krohn was 11-of-20 for 141 yards.
Doug White's 35-yard field goal with 2:45 left in the first half gave the Minutemen a 10-7 halftime lead.

Tim Day came on for Massachusetts after Krohn was knocked out of the game in the third quarter and was 6-of-7 passing for 46 yards. Krohn walked off on his own power.
Kimener gave the Minutemen a 17-7 lead late in the third quarter with his interception return.
Cobbs broke an 84-yard run in the fourth quarter that put Massachusetts in position for another score, but the Minuteman failed to capitalize.
Hall was 14-of-35 for 142 yards and three interceptions.
