Women's Tennis Advances Into Semifinals At Atlantic 10 Championships

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The University of Massachusetts women's tennis team defeated Xavier, 5-3, yesterday, to advance into the quarterfinals of the 2000 Bell Atlantic Atlantic 10 Championships, which will begin today at noon. The Minutewomen, who improve to 8-14 (5-9 Spring) with the victory, will take on the defending conference champion Virginia Tech in the next round.
