Rebecca Hasson Garners All-Conference Accolades in Volleyball

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts senior Rebecca Hasson (Riverside, Calif./ Redlands) was selected to the Atlantic-10 All-Conference Team, as announced today by the league office. The voting was conducted among the Conference's nine head coaches.

Hasson, who led the Minutewomen to victories in eight of their last 11 matches, ranked first on the team in kills (413), kills per game (4.17), total blocks (114), and blocks per game (1.14). UMass finished the season at 14-13 and 10-6 in the A-10 which was good for fourth place, but the Maroon & White missed out on the final playoff spot due to a tie-breaker with Dayton.

UMass will also lose senior setter Jenni Drennan (Long Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos) to graduation, who moved into first place on the all-time assists list at UMass this season. She ended her career with 2,594 assists.
