JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville's Mladen Dikic scored twice and Bruno Caiexta added another, as the 20th-ranked Dolphins (1-0) defeated UMass 3-1 in the first round of the Nike/JU Legends Tournament at Milne Field on Friday afternoon.
Todd Baron (Albertson, N.Y.) scored on a penalty shot in the 85th minute for UMass (0-2). Bryan O'Quinn (Feeding Hills, Mass.) made four saves in his first start of the season for the Minutemen.
UMass will return to action on Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. when they take on Georgia State (1-0) in Jacksonville.
