Amherst, Mass. - Senior Todd Baron (Albertson, N.Y.) scored two goals, including the game winner at 38:18 off a feed from fellow senior Jonathan Bibb (London, England) , as the University of Massachusetts men?s soccer team (6-4, 1-1) rallied from a 1-0 defecit to defeat Temple 3-1 at Totman Field on Friday afternoon.

Temple (3-5-1, 1-1) struck first when Kevin Kelly received a pass of over fifty yards from Michael Skahan, and then blasted the ball past UMass goalkeeper Bryan O?Quinn (Feeding Hills, Mass.) at 4:40. UMass got the equalizer at 22:11 off of a Temple own goal, a ball which Patrick Beattie (Mobile, Ala.) deflected off a UMass defender. Baron broke the tie just over 16 minutes later, and capped off the scoring when his penalty kick beat Temple goalie Drew Moser at 74:18. Moser?s counterpart, O?Quinn, made zero saves as he picked up his third win of the season.

UMass has now won the last four games against Temple in Amherst. The Minutemen will host St. Joseph?s on Sunday afternoon at Totman Field. Kickoff time is set for 1:00 p.m.
